I've tried to be straightforward below about what I'm happy for you to do with it, and what I'd rather you didn't. If something isn't covered, or if anything is unclear, feel free to get in touch. I'm generally easy about these things.
What you're welcome to do
Please share links to pages here, with attribution. You're also welcome to quote briefly from my texts (up to around 10% of any given piece), as long as you attribute clearly and link back to the original where you can.
Writing about my work, teaching with it, citing it in research: all of that I actively welcome.
What I ask you not to do
Please don't reproduce, repackage, or redistribute my work in full without asking first. This goes for texts, images, and anything else: writing reproduced in other publications, images of artworks used elsewhere, and scraping or aggregating content from this site in automated ways.
The headshots on this website are pre-approved for use in publications writing about my work. For anything else, please ask.
Third-party material
Where something on this site isn't mine (documentation photographs taken by others, images used with permission, and so on), I've tried to note this clearly and attribute accordingly. I don't own the rights to those materials and can't grant permission for their further use, so for that you'd need to go to the rights holders directly.
I've tried hard to get attributions right. If you think something is incorrectly credited, or if you're a rights holder with a concern, please get in touch and I'll sort it out.
A note on AI
I don't consent to the use of anything on this website (texts, images, or otherwise) for training artificial intelligence systems of any kind. This applies across the board, whether or not individual items are marked.
